Resolution CR 01/2001
It is critical to use the OAS funds provided
for SIM towards building up the Metrology
infrastructure, especially in developing
countries of SIM. These include offerings
of training courses and workshops, and performance
of pilot studies to assess metrology capabilities
of NMIs. Funds should also be used to encourage
these countries to participate in key and
supplementary comparisons.

Resolution CR 02/2001

SIM procedures.

the amendment of SIM statues were accepted,
but the issue of PDC will be presented separately
at GA.

the one who talked, the proposal is not

Resolution CR 04/2001
Activate WG on Quality System, which promotes
the establishment of QS in NMIs of SIM,
following the guidelines of CIPM/MRA, which
require QS before 2003. Ismael Castelazo
will review the QS status of all MRA signatories
and other NMIs of SIM, and prepare presentation
to GA to promote QS within SIM.
Ismael Castelazo will represent SIM at EUROMET
Initiation seminar to present SIM QS matter.
Resolution CR 05/2001
The resolution should be : To activate the
the WG on QS, and Steve Carpenter will contact
the chair to achieve this. The part of Ismael

Resolution CR 06/2001
To designate Ismael Castelazo as SIM representative
in the Initiation Workshop for NMIs to be
held in The Netherlands 13-14 December 2001,
organized by 10 members of EUROMET. Luis
Mussio.
Resolution CR 07/2001
Each coordinating NMI of SIM/OAS funds will
prepare a report on the actual expenses
of OAS project 2001 classified by subregion.

In order to maintain SIM information
and history, a copy of every document produced
during SIM meetings, courses or comparisons
must be sent to the SIM secretariat for
archiving.he council approved the appointment
of Paulo Ferracioli as SIM secretary and
welcomed him.
